Polity in MPSC prelims — the anchor subject
Indian Polity carries the highest weightage-to-effort ratio in every MPSC preliminary paper. Between 12 and 18 questions in a typical Group B, Group C, PSI or Gazetted Civil Services prelim come from the Constitution, Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles of State Policy, Parliament, the President, the Supreme Court, the Governor, the Maharashtra state legislature and the three-tier Panchayati Raj system.
